Dr Ralph Molnau was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Chanhassen area. Farm life as well as 4H membership and projects seeded an interest in animals. After high school, Dr. Molnau attended the University of Minnesota and graduated veterinary school in 1952. Immediately after graduating, Dr. Molnau served in the US Army Veterinary Corps. After completing his time with the Army, Dr. Molnau moved back to the Carver County area and purchased the Waconia Veterinary Clinic from Dr. A.C.
