If you are missing your pet or know of someone who has lost their furry little companion please call Countryside Veterinarian at 952-442-4200. Countryside Veterinarian  is a holding facility for lost or stray pets from the following communities: Glencoe, Hamburg, Waconia, Mayer, Cologne, Victoria, Norwood Young America and Carver. While it is not our responsibility to post notices regarding animals brought to our facility, it is our hope to re-unite all stray animals with their families. 

CALLING ALL MIXED BREEDS

You now have the opportunity to find out the breed composition of your dog.  The Mixed Breed Analysis test can track at least 3 generations back, providing you with more knowledge about your furry friend.  This information can be beneficial for both health concerns and behavioral issues.  The test can detect more than 130 breeds that may be present in a mixed breed dog, covering 99% of AKC registered breeds. 

The test requires a short appointment with a technician who will draw a blood sample.  The sample is then submitted to the Mars Veterinary Laboratory who performs the DNA test.  Within 4 weeks you will receive a customized, comprehensive report that includes the dog’s breed analysis and detailed information on the appearance and potential behavioral characteristics of detected breeds. 

This test and its findings can greatly impact the overall health and longevity of your mixed breed dog.
