Stray Pets

If you are missing your pet or know of someone who has lost their furry little companion please call Countryside Veterinarian at 952-442-4200. Countryside Veterinarian  is a holding facility for lost or stray pets from the following communities: Glencoe, Hamburg, Waconia, Mayer, Cologne, Victoria, Norwood Young America and Carver. While it is not our responsibility to post notices regarding animals brought to our facility, it is our hope to re-unite all stray animals with their families.

April Horse Health Days

A message to Horse Owners from Dr. Molnau & the Staff at Countryside Veterinarian

You are invited to our annual horse wellness clinic at our clinic site on April 11th and 12th, 2008, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

The following services will be available:

  • Coggins testing
  • Vaccinations:
    • Tetanus
    • Encephalitis Eastern & Western
    • West Nile
    • Influenza
    • Potomac Horse Fever
    • Streptococcus- Strangles
    • Rhinopneumonitis Influenza
  • Physical examination and consultation with Dr. Ralph Molnau
  • Farrier services with Dan Rettman (by appointment only)
  • De-wormer administration
  • Free fecal samples
  • Health Certificates (which would be good for 30 days)

By bringing your horse to our clinic you save a farm call charge (savings of $26.00) and you can get all of your horse needs done at once.  While you’re here you can meet our feed specialist, staff and other horse owners.

I want to personally thank you for using our clinic and feed store. This summer we will be celebrating our 16th year at this location.  Horse ownership has increased in the area and with your help our business has grown.

We have added Lyle Braun to our feed department staff.  He was a successful dairy farmer for many years and is knowledgeable about animal nutrition. Jeff Jeneke remains on our staff and is also doing consulting work with the Archer Daniels Midland Company. He spends a few days each week with us.
